Runners and triathletes need strong legs. Runners are single leg athletes, which means we spend most of the time on one leg so we need unilateral strength. That’s why I’m showing you my 5 favourite single leg exercises in this video.
DISCLAIMER: These are just my favourite exercises I’m doing right now as part of my leg training. You might find some of these exercises too difficult so please make sure if you do any of them for the first time you warm up properly and get some support by grabbing on to something which helps you with balancing. Do the exercises without any weights and learn the correct form first. Always increase the load and intensity gradually and train smart to stay injury free!
