Current Women’s National Team coach Park Yoon-jung will take over as head coach of the U-20 Women’s National Team.

The Korea Football Association (KFA) announced the appointment of Park Yoon-jung on Wednesday.굿모닝토토

At 34 years old, Park, born in 1989, is the youngest woman ever to take charge of a women’s national team.

She is only the third women’s national team coach in history, following Hwang In-sun and Kim Eun-jung.

Park, who has served as coach of Colleen Bell’s Women’s A team since last December and participated in the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, will continue to coach the A team.

Park’s new U-20 squad, which will be aiming to qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia next September, will hold its first training session at the Paju NFC on June 6.
