Toronto defeated Tampa Bay 6-2 on Tuesday (June 23) at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States.
With a season record of 86-68, Toronto maintained its hold on the second wild-card spot in the American League.
On the same day, the third wild-card spot is being contested by the Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers, with Texas holding a 6-0 lead. A win would put them 0.5 games back of third-place Texas and 1.5 games back of Seattle.
Tampa Bay, which has clinched the top wild card spot, is 94-61.
Toronto broke through in the top of the sixth inning, trailing 1-0. One out later, George Springer singled, stole second base and scored on a Beau Bichette single to tie the game.온라인바카라
Back-to-back walks to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Caban Vizio loaded the bases, and Alejandro Kirk drove in the go-ahead run on a wild pitch.
Matt Chapman followed with an RBI single and Dalton Bashaw added an RBI single to make it 4-1.
After scoring a run in the bottom of the seventh, Toronto put the game out of reach in the top of the ninth with a solo home run by Bashaw and an RBI single by Springer.
Toronto starter Chris Bassitt earned his 15th win of the season, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits with eight strikeouts in 6⅔ innings.
Meanwhile, Hyun-jin Ryu will start against Tampa Bay at 5:10 a.m. on April 24.
