The San Diego Padres’ Ha-Sung Kim’s bat is not coming alive.
Kim went 0-for-4 with a walk and three strikeouts in his first at-bat at shortstop for the San Diego Padres against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on Thursday (June 14).
After leading off the first inning and battling Dodgers starter Ryan Peavy for nine pitches, Kim grounded out to first base in the third inning.
After striking out again in the fifth inning against Peppiott, he was hit by a three-pitch walk in the seventh inning against reliever Joe Kelly.메이저놀이터
The no-hitter dropped Kim’s season batting average to .268. He seems to be in a hitting slump in September. Kim is batting just 0.195 in 10 games in September.
Meanwhile, San Diego won 6-1 behind 6 1/3 scoreless innings from starter Blake Snell. With a 69-78 record on the season, the Padres are in fourth place in the National League West.
