Fire at Toronto Triple-A home…$600,000 in property damage

A fire broke out at the home of the Buffalo Bisons, a Triple-A team affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Local media outlets in Buffalo, including WBEN, reported that the fire broke out at Salerne Field in Buffalo, New York, U.S., on Monday morning local time.

Video footage posted on social media showed a fire breaking out in a spectator walkway near home plate, with thick smoke rising.

According to local media, the fire started in an ice cream vendor cart in the aisle.

Local media, citing fire officials, estimated the damage at about $600,000 (about $791.4 million). Fortunately, no lives were lost.

Today’s scheduled game between Buffalo and the Indianapolis Indians (Pittsburgh Pirates Triple-A) at Salerno Field will proceed as normal.

“We will be able to play today’s game in a safe environment,” Bisons general manager Mike Budkowski told local media.

While the game will be played as normal, some areas of the stadium will be closed due to safety concerns.온라인카지노

Salen Field opened in 1988 and has been home to the Bisons since then.

In 2020 and 2021, it was the temporary home of the Toronto Blue Jays as the border between the United States and Canada was closed due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
