Coach Choi Won-kwon: “We lost due to poor physical condition of the three backs…if the Sangam turf is restored, it will be a disadvantage for us”

Daegu FC head coach Choi Won-kwon said it would be a disadvantage if the turf at the Seoul World Cup stadium, which was damaged by a K-pop concert at the jamboree, was returned quickly.

Daegu lost 1-3 to Incheon United in the 26th round of the Hana OneQ K League 2023 at the Incheon Football Stadium on Nov. 13.

After the match, head coach Choi Won-kwon said, “Incheon played much better than us. It was a quality match,” Choi said after the game.

“The decline in the physical strength of our three back defenders was a disadvantage, and I think the Incheon players took advantage of that, but the fact that our players didn’t give up until the end and scored a goal is a positive part of our preparation for the Seoul match,” Choi added.온라인바카라

Daegu will play their Round 27 match against FC Seoul at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, which was the site of a K-pop concert for the 2023 Saemangeum World Scouting Jamboree on December 12.

Commenting on the damaged turf at Seoul World Cup Stadium, Choi said, “If the turf is good, it’s against us. All of our players know this,” Choi said, “(But) I think Seoul will do a good job of restoring the turf for their game. We don’t have time to think about the turf, but (it’s) good to play on good turf.”

Daegu will look to break their five-match winless streak at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on April 19 at 7:30 pm.
