Despite a heatwave with daytime temperatures reaching well over 30 degrees Celsius, thousands of soccer fans flocked to the stadium to watch French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), including “Golden Boy” Lee Kang-in and Neymar, and the players responded in kind.
On March 3, PSG earned a perfect 3-0 victory in a friendly against K League 1 side Jeonbuk Hyundai at the Asiad Stadium in Busan.
With goals from Neymar and Marco Asensio, PSG’s offense was as hot as the weather, and the fans in attendance went wild.
The stadium was packed with more than 43,000 fans eager to see PSG’s players in action ahead of the new season. To reward the fans for braving the sweltering heat, the team played with passion, dripping with sweat like rain.
Lee Kang-in and Neymar, two of the fans’ favorite players, made their first appearance on the pitch after sitting out the first three games of the Asia Tour in Japan. Kylian Mbappe, who has been battling with his club over a transfer, was excluded from the Asia Tour, but Neymar more than made up for it.
Neymar, who traveled to South Korea in June last year to enjoy the country’s famous tourist spots ahead of the national team trials and won over many Korean fans with his performances in the A-match, was “genuine” this time around. After only attending club events and training in Japan, Neymar was back in action as usual, starting against Jeonbuk and scoring two goals in full-time action.온라인바카라
Lee, who was injured in the first preseason game last month and was benched for three games in Japan, was also on the field for the Korean fans and took a lap around the track after the game to thank them.
The bromance between Lee and Neymar, who have been training together, chatting and joking around outside of the game, has been building up quickly, and soccer fans are looking forward to seeing how they play together next season.
